Inez Dutton (Norton) Obituary (1927

Funeral for Inez Dutton, 87, Moulton will be Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. R. C. Borden officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery Visitation will be Thursday from 6 until 8 at Elliott Funeral Home. Mrs. Dutton, who died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, was born on June 12, 1927 in Lawrence Co. to the late James T. Norton and Cora Proctor Norton. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jimmie Lee Dutton and Bernice Roberson and her brother, Luther Norton. She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a retired seamstress from the Lawrence Corporation. She was a beautiful and loving lady, fabulous cook and enjoyed gardening. Her smile could warm the world. She was a very passive and kind person, deeply devoted to her faith, family and friends. Survivors, include her husband of 69 years, Benjamin "Mutt" Dutton, one daughter, Gail LouAllen, one son, Gary Dutton, two grandchildren, Marcy LouAllen and Justin Dutton (Kasey); one great grandson, Zander Dutton; one brother, Cullie Norton (Hazel) and a host of friends.
